Project LEAP Completes Its 10-Month Journey
This year’s Project LEAP — Learn, Eat, and Play — has reached the end of its 10-month run, and the results speak for themselves. Over the course of the program, more than 100 children from Inday Subdivision gathered each month for structured activities, values formation sessions, and a shared meal.
LEAP is one of the flagship programs of AFCMFI’s Social Engagement pillar. It brings together children ages 6 to 12 in a safe, supervised environment where they can learn, play, and belong to something good.
What Happened This Year
Each monthly session followed a consistent rhythm: a values lesson, group games and activities, and a shared meal prepared by volunteers. Children who rarely had structured time outside of school found something to look forward to every month.
Volunteers from Faith Fundamental Baptist Church and partner organizations joined every session, helping with facilitation, food preparation, and one-on-one engagement with the kids.
What’s Next
Planning is already underway for the next LEAP cycle. If you would like to volunteer or help fund the program, please reach out to us at afcmf.inc@gmail.com. One cycle of LEAP for 100 children costs ₱60,000 — and every peso goes directly to the children.
